Implementing AI to give businesses back their precious time
Built by the team behind Bunk · £3m raised · 55,000+ properties · exited
16 hrs/week
What a typical owner spends on admin nobody would miss: calls at dinner time, chasing invoices, re-typing the same data.
800+ hrs/year
The same time annualised. A working month of your year, every year.
6,500 hrs/year
Saved across a team of 50, each winning back just 30 minutes a day.
Illustrative figures, to be confirmed.
What we do
Build
I build new ventures in AI, right now voice agents for small and mid-sized businesses. I also help companies implement AI solutions that drive real gains, with access to an amazing network of CTOs, product leaders and operations people to make it happen.
Advise
I advise a small number of founders on go-to-market, AI strategy and commercial growth. A few relationships at a time, close enough to be genuinely useful rather than a name on a cap table.
We build AI that earns its keep for real businesses, and advise the founders and funds backing it.
02 / The front door
Tell the agent about your business. In two minutes it maps where AI can save you time and cost, then sends you a personalised report on exactly where to start.
No sign-up. Two minutes of your time. I keep only what helps me help you.
Who I work with
Founders past the first bit of traction who need distribution to become a system, not a scramble.
Operators who want one honest opinion over ten polite ones.
People building with AI who want it to be useful, not decorative.
Company owners who want to implement AI properly, and want a partner to help make it real rather than a slide about it.
Unbusy Voice
The first venture built at Unbusy. It answers every call, knows your business, and handles the conversation like one of your team, so the rest of your team can get on with everything else.
"Good morning, thanks for calling. How can I help you today?"
How we work
A small team, embedded. We pick the workflow with the fastest payback, build it in your tools, and hand back something your people run and trust.
Find where it pays off
One workshop. We leave with two or three candidate workflows, ranked by payback rather than hype, and a number attached to each.
Live in 3 to 6 weeks
We build the first workflow live in your tools and your tenancy, in weeks not quarters, with a human check on every decision from day one.
Hand over something that lasts
Your team owns it, with the audit trail and the metrics to prove it is working. We move on to the next one, or step back.
Where it tends to pay off first
Document & data processing
Contracts, invoices and forms turned into a queue of decisions. Extraction and routing a person checks, not types.
Customer operations
Triage, drafting and summarising that gets your team to the answer before they have finished reading the thread.
Back-office workflows
Finance, HR onboarding and compliance checks that run the checklist, flag what is missing, and leave people to approve.
Governance
The questions your risk register will ask, answered before the first call.
AI drafts, sorts and routes. Your people approve. Review points sit wherever judgement matters.
Every automated step leaves a trail: what was read, what was decided, and who signed it off.
Data protection is a design input from the first workshop, not a compliance pass bolted on at the end.
About
I spent nearly a decade building Bunk, a VC-backed proptech. We raised around £3m, grew to 55,000+ properties under management, were named a Tech Nation top-15 fintech, and exited.
Why Unbusy exists
Time is a real cost.
Businesses lose staggering amounts of time to pointless work. A few minutes here, a repeated task there, in every corner of the business. Nobody notices it going, and nobody would miss it.
Unbusy was born to win that time back, for you and your key people. We treat it as a cost like any other. And when your best people get their hours back, they spend them on the things that actually move the business.
The thesis
Distribution beats product.
The companies that win own the customer relationship. A good product is table stakes. Getting it to the right people, repeatedly, is the harder part and the more durable one.
It guides everything here. Start from the route to the customer, then work back to what you build. It is why the front door of this site is a conversation, not a contact form.
A note from Tom
I like small problems solved properly. I go deep with a few people rather than spread thin across many. I try and say the important things, even when it is hard to hear. If we work together, you get me, not a deck.

Contact
The agent above has probably already pointed you here. If not, the short call is the fastest way in. Bring the messy version, that is where I help most.
